Those who always feel like victims and those who always feel like phoenixes are the two types of individuals that exist throughout tough times. You can probably guess what I’m talking about. The truth is that depending on whatever side of the fence you’re on (or choose to be on) and which side you pick, you can foretell your future with tremendous confidence.
However, you will never be able to recognize this in the moments when everything in your life appears to be going smoothly, in the moments when you have a work routine that allows you to fulfill your obligations, ensure your survival and that of your family, as well as give yourself some treats when your relationship is stable, and everything appears to be perfect.
Times of adversity, loss, and crisis define one’s character because it is during these times that you have the “opportunity” to demonstrate who you are and how you can empower yourself.
There is no other point in your life when you have a better possibility of success than when you are dealing with a genuinely daunting problem. Although true, success is also dependent on your character and inner strength, because defeat is definite and deafening in the absence of these attributes.
If you find yourself in a state of intense emotional distress, it is OK to lament, cry if necessary, and shut yourself in your room for a day or two; but, you must set a time limit for yourself.
Then, with your eyes closed, look in the mirror in front of you and ask yourself whether what you see in the mirror is something you enjoy. If you do, how do you want the people you care about to view you in this situation? when the other people see you for the first time.
The law of attraction has the ability to alter a situation in tough circumstances.
Whenever we are consistent and focused on our goals, there are many great things we can do; nevertheless, we never have as much power for change as we do during our most difficult times in life.
Remember that everything has two sides, and this merely means that the same force may propel us to success as it can send us tumbling down the rabbit hole.
I only hope that this contemplation will serve to open your eyes and that it is you, acting on your own free will, who will seize the reins of your destiny and become the best version of yourself.
If your option is to sink into melancholy, self-pity, and a sense of defeat, you can do so; however, be aware that you will never be able to regain that time, and the more time you spend in that state, the more likely it is that you will get entrenched in that condition. You are attracting more and more scenarios that will make you feel the same as you do now.
In order to make a positive difference in the current circumstance, you must take action and only look forward; this is your greatest opportunity.
Instead of following the advice of others, follow your heart and do what it tells you to do to go where you want to go. If someone has the greatest of intentions to assist you, only your soul knows where you should go. Learn to listen to your heart and trust your instincts.
LOA Exercise to transform the situation in difficult moments
This exercise is really easy, yet it is extremely effective in assisting you in changing your attitude and being the person you want to be.
Every morning when you shower, make an effort to dress appropriately and fragrance yourself so that you feel fantastic.
After that, stand at a location of your choosing, close your eyes, and visualize a purple flame in front of you. This is your goal.
If you were to take off an outfit that you were wearing, starting from the top and working your way down, you would take off the outfit of sadness, or the costume of defeat, or the suit that you believe you are wearing at the time, and you would do the right thing.
Exercise including stripping down to your underwear and tossing it into the campfire; pretend you are nude while listening to the suit being consumed in the violet flames.
Now that the suit has been worn out, consider what suit you would want to wear today. Close your eyes and pick the suit you like, whether it be the suit of success, the suit of happiness, the suit of plenty, the suit of love, or anything you desire and put it on. putting it on from top to bottom is a physical activity.
Make sure the outfit fits properly and that you like how it looks on you and how you appear wearing it. Consider how people will see you in that outfit and how they will admire you.
You are now prepared to turn into anybody or whatever you choose. Nobody will take care of you if you don’t take care of yourself.
